Delete your Qevio account

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Qevio.
2. Go to Settings → About → Delete my account.
3. Tap Send code: Qevio sends a code to your number by WhatsApp or SMS. Enter it and tap Delete my account. Your account is deleted at once.

If you can no longer open the app

Send an e-mail to support@qevio.app with the subject Delete my Qevio account and the phone number of the account. To make sure the request is yours, we send a code to that number by WhatsApp or SMS and ask you to reply with it. We delete the account within 30 days of the confirmed request and tell you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account: phone number, account name and profile photo.
• Your devices' keys and notification tokens, your settings and your blocked list.
• Anything still waiting on our servers for your phones (encrypted messages and media not yet downloaded).

Your messages, photos, calls and stories were never readable by Qevio: they are end-to-end encrypted and live on the phones of the people in the conversation. Copies already on other people's phones stay with them, as with any messenger.

What we keep, and for how long

Only what the law requires us to keep is held after deletion: the connection and safety records listed in our privacy policy, for the periods stated there, and then deleted. Qevio is operated by ECOM Global Investment Ltd (England and Wales, company number 16154637).
